New yarns to share with you this week, have a peek! First off, take a look at this beautiful novelty yarn from Feza called Alp Natural. This organic yarn is a combination of linen, cotton, silk, and viscose fibers, and gorgeous!
Take a look at this lovely ribbon yarn from Oasis Yarn. Lana Ribbon yarn in beautiful colorways.
Also new this week, we’ve got some pretty yarns from Bernat. We are now carrying Softee Baby, a DK weight 100% Acrylic yarn that comes in large 333 yard skeins, perfect for your next baby project. And CottonTots, a Worsted 100% cotton yarn – perfect for baby washcloths or blankets as well.
Next up, we have a beautiful 100% Linen yarn from M & K. This hank is 136 yards of DK weight linen goodness. Want to make a nice summer top or bag? Or perhaps a nice handtowel? This would be perfect for it.

First off, some great new classes are coming in March! Take a look at this adorable Balloon Monkey: This cute little toy is made in a tube, like a balloon animal, and finishing touches make it A-dorable.

Basic Training will begin on March 4th. So if you are ready to move beyond scarves please sign up as there is an assignment for the 1st class.

We’d like to remind you of a couple of great upcoming classes! First off, the Modular Knit Shell Vest:
This 3-session class begins February 10th, and is great for using up leftover yarns. This vest can be made in any yarn/weight. Join us for what is sure to be a fun class!
Also, the Chase Around Sock:
This project starts February 4th and is great for using up leftover sock yarns, the wilder the better! Let the stashbusting begin!
Also, the Basic Training class was going to start February 4th, but has been moved to next friday, February 11th, so if you are interested in taking this class, now’s the time to sign up…

Some real beauties to share with you this week! First off, a heavenly new yarn from Cascade called Epiphany. This beautiful yarn is a wonderful 273 yards, consisting of 60% Royal Alpaca, 20% Cashmere, and 20% Silk. Need I tell you it is supremely soft to the touch? Unbelievably so, and the jewel tones are just what you need for that special project. This would make a fantastic shawl or blouse.
Next up is Berroco Borealis, a lovely and colorful bulky weight acrylic/wool blend
Dive’ Autumno, another colorful variagated beauty!
Berroco Vintage DK, the same wonderful yarn as Berroco Vintage, but in a lighter weight.
And some wonderful new Hiya Hiya bamboo circular needles!

Our Holiday Club is starting soon, come and join us on February 16th from 10 am to 12 pm, and every third Wednesday of the month from February to October. If you got caught in the last minute rush to finish small projects for the holidays last year, this is the group for you! Each month for 9 months, the group will work on small “gift” projects. The first project for February is a beautiful wine cozy. Some other projects coming to the Holiday Club will be a linen stitch scarf, a felted accessory bag, a coffee cup cozy, a spa set, guest socks, and a hat/cowl set, and more! We’d love to see you and have fun working projects together.

Wow, take a look at some of the new stuff we got in recently:
Knit Picks double pointed and straight needles, as well as the turkeyfoot spindle and roving – we’ve put together a lovely kit for you which includes a bag, roving, the spindle, and a needle sizer, get one soon for our drop spindle class coming on the 31st of this month!
Also, we got some new dreamy Cascade Luna Paints 100% Peruvian Cotton yarn, this comes in a pretty 164 yards of worsted weight goodness.
And we would like to share a couple of new books that we are thrilled to be able to carry:
A beautiful new book by Nicky Epstein, Knitting Block by Block, so many beautiful squares to knit something special.
And The Best of Knitters Magazine, Shawls and Scarves. There are some unbelievably beautiful lace projects in this book, so wonderful!
